Who's behind the camera.

This is my story, told simply: where I started, what I've done so far and what I'm building.

I'm 19 and I live in Lurano, a small village in northern Italy, not far from Milan.

Biglietto is the first: a product for people who travel. I started it in June, while studying for my final school exams, and I'm building it one piece at a time.

Ivan Maggini Studio is the second: a small video studio I run from Italy.

I started at 14, travelling around Italy on my own. At 15 I moved on to more unusual itineraries, with one aim: to tell the story of public transport in Italy and its problems, some of them serious. Little by little I built an audience in Italy on Instagram and TikTok. I'm not as active as I used to be, but at my peak I was invited onto several radio shows and a podcast.

In 2025, just after turning 18, I spent my summer break travelling from Italy to Indonesia without flying. Those three months changed a lot about how I travel, and nearly as much about how I live.

This year, with school behind me, I started travelling almost full time. I study law at university, I keep all these projects going, and I'm finally living the life I wanted to live.

I don't have a long career to tell you about, and I don't pretend to. I'd rather tell you myself than have you find out.

I have a way of working: I start from a real problem, keep at it until it works, and tell you along the way what isn't working, too.
